Located in the west of Samsun, Fener Beach, which was used as a port during the Genoese period and took its name from there, is 2 km from the city center and 26 km from the airport. Fener Beach, which is 235 meters long and 48 meters wide, is home to clean and fine sand.

Akdağ is the highest mountain in the Samsun region, and there are Ladik Plain and Ladik Lake in its north. The code of the plain is three plateaus between 1000 and 2000 m altitude. Skiing, sledding and snow rafting are possible.
